Activities In March 2022

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen" (Matthew 28:19-20)

"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me" (Isaiah 6:8).

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord" (I Corinthians 15:58).

The mission work in Makassar city keeps going well. My activities during March 2022 were as follows:

Translation Project

While continuing to translate two materials, namely "Life-Changing Questions" and "Bible Study Program," I added more tracts and a correspondence course material on the list of translation project. Besides those translation, I designed a form of spiritual interest. Definitely with the availability of these translated materials, I have more method to use in evangelism. And these tracts have been sent to several brethren and congregations by post and social media applications and they can print them to share to their prospects and among members of local congregations.

Online Bible Courses

At least 3 times a week I check new registrations and students' answers. The students come from various cities in Indonesia. In Makassar city itself, so far there have been two students who have taken this course, and the other one has been studying Search For Truth face-to-face. May they be good soils so that they do not only follow the course but also want to follow Christ. Those who are in other cities that want to have a personal Bible study, I submitted to the preachers who are working in those cities, so they could follow up the study.

Distributing the Tracts

I kept contributing the available tracts to a number of people and I always hope and pray that one day they will be interested in a face-to-face learning and contact my contact number listed on each tract. Also I will print my name cards and I will include them with tracts. 

Bible Classes

Makassar Church of Christ continued to have a Bible class on Sunday after worship using a book entitled The Beginning of Our Confidence (a lesson designed for new Christians) and also an online Bible class on Friday night using another book entitled Basic Facts of Faith.
